As soon as I landed at Villa Nautica Paradise Island Resort, located in the gorgeous North Male Atoll, I knew I was in a surreal world. I firmly believe that my expectations were exceeded as the beautiful beaches, clear turquoise waters, and tropical vegetation were ample enough to set the tone for an unforgettable stay. Located on Lankanfinolhu Island which is just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Velana international airport, this resort was a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. And it definitely delivered.

Initial Thoughts & Reaching the Place
The Maldives provided me highly welcoming service right after I landed. The private speedboat transfer offered by the resort was a great bonus and made my journey much easier and more enjoyable. While the boat was getting closer to the island, the amazing view that was displayed in front of me had me astonished. Everything felt as though it was out of a movie postcard.
Accommodation: Relaxed Opulence by the Sea
Villa Nautica provides guests with ample options, however, I was fortunate enough to stay in a One Bedroom Water Villa Suite. The new and refreshing feeling of waking up to the sound of ocean waves paired with a soft sunrise was stunning. The villa was very spacious, had modern-day facilities and even a glass panel on the floor where fish could be seen swimming around.
Even though there are some people who prefer being on land, the deluxe villa with beach views and a private pool for extra pampering is truly amazing.
Dining: A Culinary Delight
The peak of my stay and something I will remember with nostalgia is the dining experience at Villa Nautica. The place itself boasts multiple restaurants including an Italian ristorante and a massive buffet which was surely a crowd favorite. Everything was fresh, and well-cooked, and the presentation was on point. Personally, the seafood dishes were my absolute favorite. It felt like the seafood had just been caught from the ocean when I ordered it. The dining staff were friendly too, often assisting guests with allergies.
Exciting Activities & Entertainment
The resort caters to adventure lovers too, with plenty of water sports and other activities. For instance, I participated in snorkeling where I got to see the beautiful coral reefs and later I swam with some exotic animals. For those who are more adventurous, you can choose jet skiing, wakeboarding, or waterways skiing for a unique adrenaline rush.
Some of the things that stood out to me the most were the nurse sharks, giant trevallies and even dolphins I saw while snorkeling near a shipwreck in Keyodhoo Island. Honestly, that was a unique chance to experience the beauty of the ocean.
Just the same, evenings at Villa Nautica were incredibly pleasant as well, as the bar at club offered great live performances that provided the perfect backdrop to relax after an adventurous day.
Relaxation & Wellness
People who want to relax have an excellent opportunity to do so at the infinity pool area while drinking something cold under the beautiful Maldivian sun. This resort also has a luxurious spa, where I had a relaxing massage that took away all my worries.
Service: Hospitality at Its Best
The staff at Villa Nautica went out of their way to make my stay remarkable. I was very pleased with every aspect of the resort, from the housekeepers who kept my room sparkling to the restaurant staff who prepared my personalized dishes. The hospitality was cordial and friendly which contributed heavily towards positive impact on my overall satisfaction.
