My Personal Experience Visiting Butterfly Beach in Goa
Do you want to visit Goa but are unsure where to go? Most people prefer crowded places like Calangute Beach or Miramar Beach. But today, I want to take you to a beach that will make you feel like you’re not even in India. This is Butterfly Beach, one of the most beautiful and untouched beaches in Goa.
Since not many people know about it, Butterfly Beach remains very clean and peaceful. Playing in the crystal-clear water here is an experience in itself. It’s truly one of the best offbeat beaches in Goa.
There are two ways to reach Butterfly Beach:
- By ferry boat
- By trekking
If you choose the ferry option, you can get a boat from Palolem Beach, Patnem Beach, or Agonda Beach. The cost is around ₹1000 to ₹1200. An interesting part of this boat ride is that you might even spot dolphins along the way!
The second way is trekking. The trek starts from either Palolem Beach or Agonda Beach. It’s a 2-hour trek through dense forest and an absolutely amazing experience. However, during the rainy season, both routes are usually closed. So, I recommend visiting Butterfly Beach between November and March for the best experience.
So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and head to Goa!
