The nearest airport to reach Hampi is the Hubli Airport, which is located approximately 160 km away. Otherwise, Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore is around 350 km from Hampi and offers extra flight alternatives. From these airports, you may reach the city with the help of street or rail.
From Hubli Airport:
Taxi or Private Car: From there you can directly hire a taxi or else a private car from the airport to Hampi. The journey takes almost 3.5 to 4 hours. And it also costs a little more so prefer local travel if you want to explore.
Bus: Buses frequently run from Hubli to Hospet every day. Hospet is the nearest town to Hampi. From Hospet, Hampi can be reached by local bus or auto-rickshaw.
By Train:-
The easiest and nearest railway station to Hampi is the Hospet Junction, which is almost 13 km away. Hospet is also well connected to major cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Goa.
